Job Description: Senior Systems Engineer - AI
The Senior Systems Engineer with emphasis on AI works with the game’s Technical Director to develop AI systems and opponents for our VR strategy titles. This individual is responsible for designing and implementing AI features behind our strategy games up to tournament-level intelligent opposition.
Responsibilities
- Implement, balance and fine tune AI systems
- Work with designers to combine AI systems into features that contribute to core gameplay
- Create development tools that aid in development and tuning of AI systems
- Contribute to Experiment 7's engineering culture by improving our core architecture, institutional knowledge and AI technology best practices
Qualifications
- Significant AI engineering expertise and experience
- Experience writing performant code
- Proven ability to work with an established codebase and architecture
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A deep love of games

- VR development
- Expert level Unity knowledge
- Expert level C# knowledge
- AI for real-time or turn-based strategy games
- AI for board game implementations
- Gameplay Engineering experience
- Writing and maintaining technical design documentation
